Description

NOMYNOL BLUE 1 is a hot-thread compound, which does not contain sulphur, chlorine compounds and components f reacting with metallic surfaces.

The synthetic base oil starts evaporating at temperatures above 160¢XC without leaving residues. The remaining solid lubricants can then build up a separating layer.

Field of application

NOMYNOL BLUE 1 is made as a separating agent for threaded connections in a wide temperature range.

Preferred use is for gas turbine blade installation and rotor assembly.

NOMYNOL BLUE 1 meets the requirements of SIEMENS KWU (TLV 9600 02/02) for use in nuclear power plants.
